During these visitations, Dr. Derik Du Toit had the opportunity to collaborate with two of the world’s leading orthopedic surgeons in Austria. These experts are pioneers in kinematic alignment techniques for knee replacements and minimally invasive anterior approaches for hip surgeries. Working alongside these distinguished professionals, Dr. Du Toit gained invaluable insights and refined his surgical techniques in arthroplasty.

Throughout his training, Dr. Derik Du Toit engaged in extensive discussions on various topics related to hip and knee replacements. These discussions encompassed advanced surgical techniques, the underlying pathology of joint conditions, and the latest developments in surgical practices.
